Our grandmother Blanca

Aires Caseros has a grandmother.

Blanca Lanzy is a huge part of who we are. Many of the recipes behind our main regional dishes are hers, like the humita a la olla. And she was the one who helped our Salta cooking keep getting better.

She cooked the way a grandmother from Salta cooks: generous dishes, full of flavor, so that no one ever got up from the table hungry. She was from Metán, in the south of the province.

That’s why, when someone tries our regional food and says “this is truly homemade”, they’re talking about her.
