Tabla Andina
The best of Salta's regional cooking on one platter for two, with wine or lemonade
If it's your first time in Salta and you're not sure what to order, the Tabla Andina settles it: a tour of northern Argentina's traditional food on a single table. Out come the Salta-style empanadas, two beef and two cheese, tamales wrapped in corn husk, humita served in a squash bowl, melted goat cheese and our ossobuco braised in dark beer, with grilled vegetables, spiced potatoes and oven-roasted seasonal vegetables on the side.
It's made for sharing slowly and trying a bit of everything. The version for two comes with two glasses of red wine or Torrontés, Salta's signature white, or with lemonade, and we also make it for four, with drinks for everyone. Hearty, generous and fairly priced, it's one of our guests' favorites, half a block from Plaza 9 de Julio.
